The potential new and returning color options for the iPhone 16 Pro have been leaked by a leaker. This information was revealed by ShrimpApplePro on X and was obtained from a Weibo informant whose name translates to “OvO Ou Ou Yi Yi Yi Yi baby baby sauce OvO.”
Initially, it seems that the new color for this year could be dubbed Rose, which is a shade of bronzey-gold. Gold was last seen as an option on the iPhone 14 Pro, after Apple devoted the iPhone 15 Pro exclusively to titanium-branded color options.
However, this new signature color appears to be a farewell to Blue Titanium, much like how the iPhone 14 Pro’s Deep Purple was discontinued with the introduction of the current generation.
Also making its way back from the iPhone 14 Pro is space black, which is excellent news for those seeking to complement their new MacBook Pro M3 Pro. Additionally, the white color option resembles the silver option from the iPhone 14 Pro, not the Titanium White option from the iPhone 15 Pro, according to the leaker.
What then of Gray? This appears to be a continuation of the Natural Titanium option that was introduced on the iPhone 15 Pro. However, contrary to what the leaker claimed, the gray color of the iPhone 16 Pro will be considerably more subdued than the gray found in Natural Titanium. This makes logic, correct?
A prior iPhone 16 Pro color source speculated that Apple would offer Desert Yellow and Cement/Titanium Gray as alternative color options. Despite having different names, these two reports appear to corroborate one another, given that the new Rose color resembles the Desert Yellow in sound and the new Gray appears to match the Cement Gray description.
What, however, of the non-Pro iPhones released this year? It is probable that the iPhone 16 will offer a greater variety of vibrant color options compared to its predecessors. However, we have not heard anything specific thus far. Even this year, there have been no new iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Pro color options, contrary to what Apple has done annually in the spring of previous years to revitalize the appearance of the most recent iPhones (and consumer interest in them).
Additional iPhone 16 series modifications, such as the addition of a Capture button and an AI-optimized Pro chipset, have been the subject of persistent rumors. Additionally, it has been reported that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature displays measuring 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively.
