anticipated new games.. A lot of good new video games came out in the first three months of 2024, so it’s been a busy start to the year. It doesn’t look like April will be any different, as the next few weeks will bring a lot of highly expected new games to PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Two popular games that were only available on Xbox will be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo this month. And if that wasn’t enough to get PS5 players excited, there’s also Stellar Blade, a brand-new game that cannot be found anywhere else. Also, sports fans will be thrilled to see the return of the TopSpin series. RPG fans aren’t forgotten either; Sand Land is coming out at the end of the month and looks like a great way to kill time.
This month, there are a lot of great computer games to choose from. Let’s take a look at all the big games coming out in April 2024…
1- Grounded (April 16)
“Grounded” is a survival game that feels a lot like the movie “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.” You play the main character, who has been shrunk down to the size of a bug, and you have to go on a trip through an overcrowded backyard to find supplies, build a safe place to stay, and fight the many animals that live there, like spiders and bees.
Grounded was released in early access on Xbox and PC in the summer of 2020 in a pretty rough state. It can be played alone or with up to four other people in co-op mode. The game has been improved over the past four years. When it comes out on PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, it has all the changes that have been made since then. It’s a fun co-op adventure, but it gets old after a while. Also, if you’re afraid of spiders, don’t worry—you can make them less hairy if you want to.
2- Sand Land (April 26)
Based on the famous Japanese comic series of the same name, which was written by Akira Toriyama, who passed away at the beginning of March, Sand Land is a bright RPG set in a huge desert world where both people and demons have to find water, which is very valuable. You play as Prince Beelzebub, who goes on a quest with a group of loyal followers to find the Legendary Spring, which is said to be buried in the sand dunes.
Along your journey, there are many things that could go wrong, such as dangerous animals and the strong Royal Army. But you have strong cars that can help you even the odds against the world’s most dangerous threats. You can improve your cars to make them even stronger. They can be anything from a fast motorcycle to a powerful battle tank. You can also make friends with people in the world and improve your base camp in the city of Spino to make it stronger and discover new tasks when you’re not fighting enemies.

3- Stellar Blade (April 26)
Stellar Blade, which was made by the Korean company Shift Up, is being released by Sony, and will only be available on PS5, could be one of the biggest games of April. Stellar Blade is a story-driven action-adventure game set in a future Earth that has been taken over by creatures called the Naytiba. The last few humans have fled to an off-world island to survive.
You are Eve, a soldier from the 7th Airborne Squad who has been sent to Earth to take it back from the forces that have destroyed it. To do this, you’ll have to quickly defeat the Naytiba and get new moves and upgrades along the way. Stellar Blade isn’t just about exciting battles, though. Its main story is also very important, and as you try to figure out what happened in the past, you quickly learn that your goal to take back Earth may not be what it seems.

4-Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves has been through rough seas since it came out in March 2018 for Xbox One and PC. But in those seven years, it’s grown into a great pirate game where you and your friends can sail the high seas looking for treasure to steal and other ships to sink.
It’s finally coming out on PS5 this month, after so many changes that we’ve lost track. This will be the first time that maker Rare has put a game on PlayStation. With full crossplay on all three systems, Sea of Thieves will have a very active community right away. Even people who don’t play games online should get it and play it.

5- TopSpin 2K25 (April 26)
TopSpin 2K25 is the first game in the series’ return to center court after a 13-year break. Created by Hanger 13, this new tennis simulation game is meant to build on the success of the well-known TopSpin 4 by keeping the basic gameplay the same and updating the graphics to more current levels.
Roger Federer and Serena Williams are tennis stars who have been used in pre-release ads for TopSpin 2K25. The game will also include current players like Iga Swiatek and Carlos Alcaraz. You can, of course, make your own professional tennis player and play in the biggest events, like Wimbledon, the US Open, and more, as you try to become a Grand Slam winner. When it comes out on April 26, TopSpin 2K25 will offer real sports excitement.
