In this week’s list of the best new series to watch, we have selected our favorites.
‘The Jinx: Part Two’ (HBO)
With an update on the spectacular case of Robert Durst, the real estate mogul who was once accused of killing his longtime companion Susan Berman, one of the most popular true crime shows of the last ten years has returned with an update on the case. Durst was arrested the day before the end of the miniseries directed by Andrew Jarecki, which had a denouement that seemed to feature Durst’s confession. This caused the miniseries to capture the attention of the media. The prosecution is chronicled in “Part Two,” which includes interviews with attorneys representing both sides, members of the jury, and the judge who presided over the trial. In addition to this, it brings to light information that was previously unknown, such as phone conversations that Durst had while incarcerated and video footage from the questioning room.
It will make its debut on HBO and Max on Sunday, April 21 at ten o’clock Eastern Time.
‘The Circle’ season 6 (Netflix)
Alterations are going to be made to the social media reality series that is available on Netflix. In addition to a “Circle” superfan and a player who utilizes images from before they shed a significant amount of weight, the cast includes a few new “types” of catfish. Max, an artificial intelligence bot, is another option. Additionally, the sixth season introduces some fresh twists, such as the “Ride or Die” mode, which has two players competing against each other. However, despite the fact that allies might be beneficial, they can also be detrimental since if one of them is blocked, the other can also be blocked along with them. Jared comes to the realization that magical beings really exist as they relocate into their family house, Spiderwick. He finds a boggart. ‘Conan O’Brien Must Go’ (Max)
When Conan O’Brien’s self-titled late-night program on TBS came to an end in 2021, the idea was that the comedian would create a show for what was then known as HBO Max. That program has taken a very long time to arrive, but it is now. His podcast, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan,” in which he engaged in conversation with listeners from all around the globe, served as the source of inspiration for this. As part of the program, he travels to Norway, Thailand, Argentina, and Ireland to meet the friends he established via the podcast. He also visits these countries to experience the local culture, food, and sites, all while maintaining his reputation for irreverent comedy.
Beginning at three in the morning Eastern Time on Thursday, April 18,
