Samsung Galaxy S24.. Since its release in late January, Samsung’s 2024 flagships, the Galaxy S24 series, have been selling like hotcakes. The phones provide a better experience than their predecessor despite incremental hardware changes.

Additionally, Samsung just released the phone’s first software update, which was considerably delayed and included a vibrance slider to correct the display’s subdued color and enhance the camera’s performance. Google has finally joined the bandwagon by making the Galaxy S24’s January 2024 Play System upgrade accessible.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 has been locked on the July 2023 Play System upgrade since its introduction. Given that other Galaxy phones have been receiving the upgrade for the last several weeks, it is unclear why Google was holding back the January 2024 Play System release for Samsung’s newest flagship. Although there aren’t any significant changes in the 75MB update, it’s still a good idea to run the most recent version since it regulates a lot of system processes.
After applying the first available update, some Galaxy S24 customers claim to have received numerous Play System upgrades directly after one another. On your Galaxy S24, go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Updates > Google Play System update to get the most recent version of the Google Play System update. To complete the installation, don’t forget to restart your phone after the download.

It’s unclear whether the Galaxy S24 will get the March build immediately once it releases or if it will receive this month’s Play System upgrade separately given that February is nearly done.
Google usually releases an update for the Play System at the start of each month. However, the January 2024 version was preventing Pixel owners from accessing their phone storage, so the firm had to halt distribution of it a few days after it was released. The corrected version wasn’t released until the second week of February, despite Google promptly acknowledging the problem and offering a difficult solution for impacted customers.
Google is also releasing the February 2024 Play System update for Pixels, as Mishaal mentions in his tweet. My Pixel 8 Pro received the 9.8MB update after I personally checked. Don’t worry if the latest build doesn’t appear on your phone straight away; try again later. The February build is mostly unchanged from the January 2024 Play System upgrade.
