Summary
Hades 2 playtest.. Despite the fact that it was revealed a year ago, Hades 2 has not yet been given a release date. We saw it for the first time. Similarly to the previous game, we are aware that it will first be made available to early access users; however, the only timetable that we have is the second quarter of 2024.
However, it would seem like Supergiant may be getting closer to that deadline since you can now sign up for the first playtest and experience the game even before it is made available to early access players.
Hades 2 playtest
It has been said that this technological test is a significant step toward early access, with the goal of resolving any technical issues that may arise before a larger audience may play. Listed below is the process by which you may sign up to be a member of a select group of players who will play the game before anyone else.
How to sign up for the Hades 2 technical test
The creators have said that the test would include the first major region of the game, in addition to other early-game characters, systems, and material. Considering that we do not know when it will take place or how many individuals will be selected, it is best to sign up as soon as possible rather than waiting till later. In spite of the fact that you may not be selected right away, other players will be permitted in eventually. It is anticipated that it will last for a period of time ranging from one week to one month.
Proceed to the Hades 2 Steam page as the first step.
In the second step, while you are logged in to Steam, scroll down until you reach the Hades 2 Playtest area, and then click on the Request Access button.
Step three: That is all that is required of you. In the event that you are selected, you will get an email to the account that is connected to your Steam account. This email will include information on how to download and proceed with playing the playtest whenever it is made available.
Guide to Signing Up
For the purpose of conducting the Hades II Technical Test, we are using Steam Playtest. If you would want to be considered for participation, you can sign up right now by going to the Hades II Steam page and selecting the button labeled “Request Access.” This will submit your request to be considered for participation.
In addition, if you are a content producer, you have the option of requesting a key using Keymailer. However, it is important to remember that, owing to the specifications of the Technical Test, we may not be able to fulfill all of your requests.
Who Is Allowed to Take Part in the Activity?
Steam will send an email to a subset of users who have requested access, with information on how to download the required files, inviting them to join. We anticipate beginning with a somewhat modest player base and then gradually expanding it over the course of time. It is possible that you will be invited to the Technical Test at a later time, even if you are not invited to the test right away. At the end of the day, our procedure consists of inviting a few players, resolving any issues that they encounter, inviting further players, and so on. When we have reached a level of confidence that is adequate enough to say that everything is stable, we will conclude the Technical Test, and then we will publish the game in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store pretty shortly after that.
Given that the objective of the Technical Test is to evaluate the game with a relatively limited number of participants, it is possible that we will not be able to accommodate individual requests to take part. We are going to make every effort to complete the Technical Test in the shortest amount of time possible, and then we are going to publish the game in Early Access. At that point, the game will be accessible for purchase and play by everyone.
The length of the technical test
Because to the nature of the Test, we are unable to provide an accurate estimate of how long it will continue; however, we do believe that it will be longer than a week and less than a month. In addition, we do not know precisely when we will debut Hades II in Early Access since the timing of this launch will be contingent on the length of time that we are required to do the Technical Test after all.
The requirements for the technical testing system
These are the minimal prerequisites for the system that will be used for the Technical Test:
Windows 10 64-bit (or Steam Deck): Operating System
Dual-core processor operating at 2.4 GHz
Graphics: 2GB VRAM and compatibility for DirectX 12+ Memory: 4GB Random Access Memory
Comprised of Technical Test Items
The first major location of the game, as well as other early-game characters, systems, and material, are all included in the Technical Test. (Imagine a version of the game in which you were unable to escape Tartarus even if you defeated its guardian. If you played the original game, you understand what I mean.) If you end up conquering the first major region several times, the game will advise to you in a gentle manner that you stop playing, since Early Access should not be too far behind!
It is important to note that save data from the Technical Test will not transfer since the Early Access version of the game has structural changes from the Technical Test version.
How Participants in Technical Tests Can Be of Assistance
Just have fun! The game will provide you with instructions on how to report any crashes or other technical difficulties that you experience in the event that you experience them.
Comments to Conclude
I would like to express my gratitude for your support of Hades II and this Technical Test. In order to ensure that we are able to concentrate on gathering your input on the game itself, it is essential for us to begin our upcoming Early Access with as few technological concerns as possible. During this time of preparation, we are grateful for your patience and support, and we are extremely happy to share that game with you in the near future.
