A motion photo is what?

From the menu that appears, disable the Top Shot option.
As an alternative, choose Automatic for Motion Photo. When needed, your Pixel switches the function on and off automatically.
Using the Night Sight, Selfie Illumination, LED flash, or Social Media Depth functions while taking a picture prevents Top Shot from working.
How to disable (or enable) motion photographs on Samsung phones
The greatest Samsung phones have motion picture capabilities. Use motion photographs, as shutter latency is a problem with Galaxy smartphones. Use the instructions below to disable the functionality.
Turn on your Samsung Galaxy phone and launch the Camera app.
To turn off (or on) motion photographs, select the second-to-last icon from the camera choices at the top of the viewfinder.
On Motorola phones, how can I disable motion photos?
Active Photos is the name given by Motorola to their version of the motion photo function. The functionality functions similarly on Pixel and Samsung handsets, despite having a distinct name. On most Moto phones, turning off Active Photos disables HDR and LED flash functionality. The quality of the image may suffer as a result. If you want the highest possible picture quality, think about disabling the function.
Get your Moto phone’s camera app open.
Press the arrow situated above the shutter button of the camera to view other settings.
To disable motion photographs, deactivate the Active photographs option.
Alternately, enable automatic settings for Active Photos and let your phone to choose when to stop taking motion pictures.
How to disable Google Photos’ motion photo feature?
Google photographs automatically plays backed-up motion photographs, much like the gallery app on your phone. You have the option to disable this behavior if you don’t like it.
On your phone, open Google Photos.
Click on a motion picture that has been saved to the picture backup service.
The motion picture begins to play automatically.
To halt the playing, tap the motion photo button located above, to the left of the cast button.
Google Photos stops playing the motion photo’s recorded video when you toggle this option. By following the preceding instructions, you can also disable the motion photo playing from Google Photos on the web.
