It’s likely that you updated to the iPhone 15 around the holidays. However, the excitement around Samsung’s top Galaxy S24 series announcement has just ended, so it’s time to start discussing what comes next. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro series is the next significant smartphone that we anticipate from Apple.
The iPhone 14 was released in late 2022, which is when the speculations of this iPhone 16 started. There was a rumor back then that Apple planned to completely eliminate the notch in favor of a more seamless design. However, the standard iPhone 15 later adopted it, leaving us to speculate as to what more may be in the works for design.
The back camera configuration of the iPhone 16 has been altered, with the two sensors placed vertically this time around a strange but clear homage to Samsung’s design aesthetic.
There have been several rumors about such a setup up until now, and today we have a photograph of what appears to be the camera chassis of the iPhone 16. Indeed, as opposed to the iPhone 15, which has two cameras positioned diagonally, this displays two cameras vertically.

Majin Bu, the Twitter/X leaker, provided the information, but MacRumors independently verified it with people in the business. According to the same sources, this is the primary camera chassis for the “I-34” camera project, which is meant to be used in the entry-level iPhone 16 model that is scheduled for delivery in September.
The reason for the move may not be Apple’s sudden affection for Samsung’s methods, but rather the possibility that Apple may introduce Spatial Video recording to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus with such a vertical layout.
The Action button from the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is also anticipated to be included in the iPhone 16, along with an extra Capture button with a force sensor.
When is the iPhone 16 coming out?
It is anticipated that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro will be released in tandem with the releases of the previous ten iPhone models. It’s an unwritten rule that Apple updates the iPhone with new features and a sleeker design each autumn. When the iPhone is released, people still wait in line at the Apple Store.

How much space will the iPhone 16 have?
It is anticipated that the screen sizes offered by the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro would differ significantly from those of prior models. The same sized medium and big configurations were available in the previous few years for both the Pro and standard versions. However, it is anticipated that Apple would make the Pro models larger than the standard phones this time.
With a 6.7-inch display for the iPhone 16 Plus and a 6.1-inch display for the rumored iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 is anticipated to be around the same size as the iPhone 15. With 6.2 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro and “over” 6.8 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the iPhone 16 Pros will be larger—live up to the “max” moniker if the
