In a Violent Nature (May 31)

This is the only information that is known about the movie at the time of this publication. This sort of movie lives or dies on its gloomy atmosphere and good jump scares, and it looks to give them in large quantities. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (May 24)
Who would have imagined that a sequel to a property that had been dormant for decades, and that had a tumultuous production history that had tongues buzzing for years, would be one of the finest movies of the century? Who would have believed that? Everyone was taken aback by Mad Max: Fury Road because of its incredible action sequences, outstanding production qualities (the movie was awarded six Academy Awards in 2016), and captivating telling of the story. In spite of the fact that the film was a surprise smash, Warner Bros., the company that was responsible for its distribution, did not make a significant amount of money from it. The good news is that a sequel was given the go-ahead, and now, nine years later, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is going to be released to an audience that is finally prepared to experience all of the desert dystopian beauty that it has to offer.
The story of Furiosa, which takes place many decades before Fury Road, follows the hard childhood of the titular heroine, who is now portrayed by Anya Taylor-Joy (Dune: Part Two), and it follows her progressive metamorphosis into the one-armed badass that everyone fell in love with in the film that came before it. As a result of being kidnapped from her home and imprisoned by Warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth), Furiosa is forced to engage in a struggle to regain her freedom while simultaneously evading not only her captors but also immortal Joe. The promotional photographs and clips from Furiosa all point to the fact that the film will be just as wild and entertaining as Fury Road, and the early word is quite favorable. Could it end up being the finest Mad Max movie ever made? That is a challenging task, but filmmaker George Miller has accomplished it in the past, and there is a good chance that he will do it once again with this film.
The Fall Guy (May 3)
I would not normally be interested in a feature picture adaptation of a relatively unknown television program from the 1980s, especially one that featured Lee Majors for Christ’s sake; nevertheless, this particular version of The Fall Guy is not like any other. To begin, it stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, two of the most charming actresses in the industry. Each of these actors is more popular than they have ever been before as a result of the success of their separate films, Barbie and Oppenheimer.
