Are you unsure about what to watch, or do you just want a starting point? These are some of the greatest free programs that are now available to watch on The Roku Channel. Here are five of our favorites that you can watch right now.
House
Doctor Gregory House, played by Hugh Laurie, is a caustic and abrasive individual who is very clever. His knowledge assists in the resolution of difficult and often life-threatening medical issues. It is possible that he is a genius; yet, he has a terrible bedside manner and is on the verge of becoming antisocial. That does not prevent him from being the greatest in his area, nor does it prevent his coworkers (and a lover) from making their way into his life, despite the fact that he is adamant in his assertion that he only requires himself and the pain medicine that he is addicted to.

The Nanny
Following the breakup of her relationship with her lover, Fran Fine, played by Fran Drescher, arrives at the doorway of Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield, played by Charles Shaughnessy, where she is attempting to sell cosmetics. Sheffield employs her to be a nanny for his children despite the fact that he believes he isn’t quite what he’s looking for. However, he ultimately grows to appreciate her charm, style, and loving heart, particularly when it comes to interacting with the children. It is also not a bad thing that the two of them share a love spark that was present from the beginning.

Walker, Texas Ranger
While striving to improve their town and even putting criminals on the straight and narrow, former Marine Cordell Walker (Chuck Norris) and former Dallas Cowboys player and partner James Trivette (Clarence Gilyard) combat crime together in Texas. They also seek to improve their city. This is a cult favorite that will have you nodding along to its iconic (and cringe-worthy but awesome) theme tune. It has a vast number of martial arts, corny action montages from the 1990s, and Norris’s talents that are larger than life. The reason for this is that, after all, the eyes of a Ranger are upon you.

Gossip Girl
It is the blogger “Gossip Girl” (Kristen Bell) who provides a glimpse at a group of teenagers from the upper class who live in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. When popular girl Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) reappears after an unexplained absence, her actions and love interests become the subject of the regular posts and musings of an unknown blogger. At the same time, the other students at Constance Billard School for Girls, including Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), are brought to light for their shady dealings.

Dead Like Me
After being struck by a toilet seat that was falling from the sky, Georgia “George” Lass, played by Ellen Muth, was abruptly taken from this world. It is as a new member of the undead that she is granted a second chance at life, but as a different person. She is offered the opportunity to act as a “grim reaper” to collect the souls of those who have passed away and transport them to the hereafter. In addition to making friends with other reapers and figuring out where she fits in this new world, Lass must come to terms with her premature death and overcome all of the feelings that accompany the experience of guiding other people to their own deaths.
