Summary
Tipster Revegnus has released an Apple roadmap that details major product releases and feature enhancements. The plan was created by Samsung and is available for viewing on X/Twitter.
The financial services division of the massive South Korean company, Samsung Securities, is the source of the blueprint. Thus, it makes sense to be aware of what the largest IT corporation in the world is doing, as one could anticipate. We’ve previously heard about a few of these allegations, but Samsung’s investigation just gives these speculations more credence.
The plan begins in 2023, so it’s possible that this is a bit out of date or that the authors merely wanted to achieve some quick victories right away. It makes reference to the titanium body, 5x periscope zoom, and 8GB RAM increase of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Additionally, it discusses the Vision Pro’s twin M2/R1 chipsets, microLED screens, and eye-tracking cameras.
After then, Vision Pro is at the top of the list of 2024 releases, which brings us to the present. Samsung Securities continues by claiming that this year would include bigger screens and five times as many periscope cameras for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models, as well as OLED-displayed 11- and 13-inch iPads (presumably iPad Pro OLED variants only). However, the regular iPhone 16 isn’t mentioned, which may indicate that the basic new iPhone will likely get just modest changes going forward.

Apple:
iPhone
SE 4 in 2025
Let’s move on to the next year, when it is expected that the 48MP camera and 6.1-inch OLED display will be found on the iPhone SE 4. Presumably for the iPhone 17 Pro, it will be accompanied by three 48MP sensors and a 48MP front camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The menu also has 12GB RAM and a POL-LESS display, an improved OLED screen from Samsung that is smaller, brighter, and more effective.
Apple in 2026: Less expensive XR headsets and foldable iPhones
According to the plan, a foldable iPhone might ultimately arrive in 2026. The picture indicates that Apple may be releasing a foldable device that is between 6 and 8 inches in size, instead of the flip-style device that we had anticipated.
Along with the Vision Pro, OLED iPad Air and iPad mini versions, and the first OLED MacBooks—which we presume to be Pro models given the allusions to 14- and 16-inch sizes—we can also reportedly anticipate a less expensive XR headset.
Along with Samsung’s quicker and more efficient LLW DRAM, which Tom’s Hardware has documented, the roadmap also indicates that Apple will include an infrared sensor panel, though we’re not really clear what this last one entails.
Apple in 2027: Foldable iPad and AR glasses first
According to Samsung Securities, Apple is expected to release its first AR Glasses with 1.4-inch RGD microOLED or microLED screens by 2027, which is the end of the timeline. Regarding its more well-known product lines, Samsung Securities claims that this year will see the release of a 20-inch foldable iPad. This is surprising since we had heard from other sources that this model will be released prior to the foldable iPhone.
To put it simply, Apple seems to have a lot of exciting things planned for the next years. Rivals, such as Samsung Securities’ associates in its mobile division, will undoubtedly have a lot to showcase as well, including more sophisticated technology than Apple is allegedly using in some situations. However, anyone hoping to purchase foldables or XR/spatial computing products directly from Apple will be relieved to hear that they’re probably on the way.
