Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses…Within the Android ecosystem, artificial intelligence is widespread and is rapidly becoming aware of its existence across a variety of hardware form factors and software experiences. Furthermore, Meta is riding the hype train with its artificial intelligence, which is gradually making its way into the company’s many social media assets such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger.
With the most recent iteration of the Meta smart glasses, which was developed in partnership with Ray-Ban, Meta is pushing things to the next level. The incorporation of artificial intelligence is not the only modification that has been made.

In September of the previous year, Meta debuted the second version of its smart glasses, which had a number of peculiar new capabilities that made it possible for social media makers to capture point-of-view videos in a practical manner. Despite the fact that the eyewear was designed in conjunction with Ray-Ban, the end product was fairly uninteresting. This is particularly true when one considers the visual flare that is instantly associated with the brand. Recently, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, made an announcement about a multitude of new hues and designs for smart glasses.
To what extent did the requirement for fresh frames and new AI come into play?
Moving on from the traditional black Wayfarer frame and the round Headliner design, Meta has launched a new Skyler frame that has a cat eye design. Additionally, the Headliner model comes with a low-bridge option, which helps to prevent glasses from falling down your nose. While there are a few new hues available for each frame right now, there are also numerous additional color combinations for frames and lenses that are in the works and will be released later this summer.
There are fifteen nations where the new designs may be purchased, including the United States of America, Canada, Australia, and all of Europe. In addition, beginning tomorrow (April 24), the business will demonstrate a limited-edition colorway of the Scuderia Ferrari, which was developed in conjunction with the Italian automobile manufacturer.
From the standpoint of functionality, Meta is expanding the capabilities of the smart glasses to include video recording as well as direct video calling functions via WhatsApp and Messenger. You would be able to express your perspective on the conversation without having to use your hands if you were to use the glasses while you were on the call. It may be really useful if you want to demonstrate something using both of your hands, or even if you simply want to demonstrate your culinary chop talents while you are on the phone. Despite the fact that Zuckerberg demonstrated this feature in an Instagram post, it is being implemented in stages across the platform.
Additionally, according to The Verge, the View companion app for these smart glasses was recently upgraded to include compatibility for Apple Music on the Android platform. The user is able to manage the playing of music and even request suggestions or a certain artist’s work, album, or song thanks to this integration.
Beta access to Meta’s new multimodal artificial intelligence, which has been in development since December, is also being made available to users in the United States of America and Canada.
As is the case with Google Assistant, you can just ask any inquiry by saying “Hey Meta,” and the smart glasses will respond appropriately to it without any more explanation. One example of a real-world application would be the ability to translate a traffic sign that you are looking at or to recognize a flower when you are at the florist.
