Summary
science fiction films .. Science fiction movie lovers are in for a big treat in March, although Hulu usually has a solid roster of films in this genre. This is because two of the greatest science fiction films of the last ten years have been loaned by Warner Bros. Pictures. The drawback is that you should see those loaned movies as soon as possible since they most likely won’t be available for long.
science fiction films
Both of the Warner Bros. films described above, which were both directed by Denis Villeneuve, are among our selections for the three science fiction films on Hulu that you should see in March. In 2025, the sci-fi comedy picture will celebrate its 20th anniversary.
Dune (2021)
This month, Hulu pulled a coup by premiering Dune concurrently with the release of Dune: Part Two. The heir of House Atreides, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), is initially introduced to the audience in the first movie. The Emperor of the Universe has given Paul’s father, Duke Leto Atreides (Oscar Isaac), a dangerous task: moving to the planet Arrakis to supervise the creation of SPice, which enables the empire to travel across space.
In contrast to the previous members of House Harkonnen, Duke Leto plans to form an alliance with the local Freemen. In the meanwhile, Paul sees images of the Freemen that he cannot comprehend, among them a young lady by the name of Chani (Zendaya). However, Paul will soon face more difficult issues than just figuring out his fate, since House Atreides has more adversaries than the Atreides are aware of.

Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Had Blade Runner 2049 been released subsequent to Ryan Gosling’s Oscars performance or his role as Ken in Barbie, would it have been a greater box office success? We may never find out, but Gosling’s rise in the movie industry will presumably attract Netflix subscribers to Dune director Denis Villeneuve’s stunning Blade Runner prequel.
In the film, Gosling plays K, a replicant who works as an official Blade Runner and hunts down other replicants. Joi (Ana de Armas), K’s A.I. girlfriend, is certain that he’s not just a replicant, and it’s possible that she’s correct. K finds out that a female replicant has given birth while looking into a case, and he could be the kid in question. The reason K needs to rush to locate Rick Deckard from the previous movie—a guy who could be his father—is because it’s a mystery that millionaire Niander Wallace (Jared Leto) will murder to answer.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (2005)
Among the finest science fiction comedies in the genre are Douglas Adams’ books The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Although it’s not nearly as amusing as the novels, the movie is still fairly humorous. Martin Freeman, who starred in Sherlock, plays Arthur Dent, an unlikely candidate to be the last man alive. Only with the help of his buddy, the extraterrestrial travel writer Ford Prefect (Mos Def), does Arthur manage to escape Earth’s annihilation.
Soon, Ford and Arthur are traveling the galaxy on perilous adventures with the final human, Trillian (Zooey Deschanel from New Girl), a melancholy android called Marvin (voiced by Alan Rickman), and Zaphod Beeblebrox (Sam Rockwell), the President of the Galaxy, who has largely neglected his responsibilities in pursuit of “the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.” And from there, the tale just gets stranger.
