Due to the fact that the brothers are concerned that Sawyer could have seen their meth business, they seek her down and attempt to murder her. Sawyer is able to avoid death and flee into the woods, despite the fact that they are successful in injuring her. Sawyer, who is injured and alone, is forced to put her faith in a complete stranger, played by Jay Paulson, who has connections to the brothers in order for her to survive.
