The story takes place in the aftermath of a terrible cordyceps fungus epidemic that infects and turns the majority of mankind into zombie-like creatures overnight. In the face of this existential danger, the last members of mankind are fighting to live despite the fact that there is no cure in sight.
One of the characters in the first season is a smuggler named Joel, who, as a result of the Cordyceps pandemic, has completely lost trust in mankind. In spite of this, there is a ray of hope in the form of Ellie, a young lady who seems to be resistant to the fungal illness. ‘Silo’
“Silo” is a dystopian future that is based on the critically acclaimed “Wool” series of books. In this dystopian future, mankind lives in a massive subterranean complex that is governed by an iron hand. Individuals who criticize the existing order are subjected to the punishment of being compelled to leave the Silo and being forced to endure a painful and drawn-out death in the wasteland above, which is televised for everyone to watch.
Juliette, the new sheriff of Silo, is the protagonist of this narrative. She was assigned to her job in order to investigate a number of fatalities that remain unexplained. As she continues to investigate, she discovers a great conspiracy that has been concealed by Silo’s ruling class.
