The mobile version of Vampire Survivors ended up becoming one of our favorite games of 2021, despite the fact that it seemed to be a mobile version of Castlevania. The Binding of Isaac: Repentance
Despite the fact that this will be the last roguelike on the list, we just could not leave out the final edition of the game that brought the genre into the current day. The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is the culmination of more than a decade of development and support for not just one of the first roguelikes to achieve widespread success but also one of the first independent games to be released. In its first iteration, it was a flash game that could be controlled only via the use of the keyboard, and for the most recent edition, this remains the case. Only your four directional movement and attack buttons, along with a few more buttons for skills and objects, are required to play this game. Shovel Knight
Although it seems to be a long-lost Super Nintendo Entertainment System game, Shovel Knight plays exactly as well as you remember those legendary games. Mega Man and DuckTales are the primary sources of inspiration for this game; however, if you were a child who grew up playing games on the 16-bit platform, you will discover a great deal of callbacks and homages to other titles that were important during that time. In this game, you take control of an unlikely hero based on a shovel and go on a journey to rescue your lost buddy, Shield Knight. Along the way, you will journey through numerous levels in order to defeat the nefarious Order of No Quarter. This was already a terrific game when it was released, but Yacht Club continued to support it by releasing whole new campaigns in which you play as different characters, which made it more than just a full product. It is not necessary to have anything other than a keyboard in order to have a great time playing this incredible adventure that has incredible music.

The Typing of the Dead: Overkill
If you have a laptop, what could possibly be a more enjoyable game to play than one in which all you have to do is type? Typing of the Dead: Overkill is a game that takes the traditional gameplay of arcade shooters like House of the Dead and transforms it into the most effective game for teaching you how to type. Instead of pointing a light pistol or your mouse at zombies in order to fire them, you will need to enter whatever phrases appear underneath them in order to unleash your bullets into them before they approach too close and cause damage. Therefore, there is no need to be concerned about the speed of your laptop since the visuals have been designed to seem like those old-school arcade experiences. The only thing that will hold you back is your own typing ability.

Tetris Effect: Connected
Is there a platform on which Tetris does not perform flawlessly? It is not necessary for me to describe this classic game to you since you are already aware that it is an excellent illustration of how a keyboard may be used. The Tetris Effect: Connected video game is not only one of the best games in the “series,” but it also takes the game to a whole new level.
