Summary
The remarkable collection of action movies that Netflix has accumulated continues to grow. It doesn’t matter whether you’re looking for a sci-fi action movie (The Hunger Games, 65, Looper) or a violent action movie (The Equalizer, Extraction 2, The Outpost), Netflix provides a wide variety of genres to pick from in order to fulfill your action requirements.
three action films on Netflix
A scary experience may be had while scrolling through Netflix, particularly if you are unsure of where to search. In the month of April, we have compiled a list of three good action movies that you should see. A jail neo-noir, a brutal vengeance story, and an action thriller featuring one of Hollywood’s most famous actors are among the films that we have chosen to include in our collection.
Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003)
If we were to claim that Kill Bill: Volume 1 is violent, we would be understating the situation. Quentin Tarantino, the writer and director of Kill Bill Volume 1, provided a phrase that has become a classic in order to justify the excessive use of violence in the film. Tarantino said, “Sure, Kill Bill is violent,” when he was asked whether he needed to defend the acts of violence in the film. Yes, that is very fucking intense. But it’s a film directed by Tarantino. When you attend to a Metallica performance, you don’t ask the annoying people to turn down the volume of the music.
In Kill Bill: Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino pays tribute to the spaghetti Westerns and martial arts films of the 1960s and 1970s, which are two genres that he takes great pleasure in. A former member of the Deadly Vipers assassination squad, Uma Thurman plays the role of the Bride, a woman who emerges from a coma four years after being betrayed by the gang and attacked at her wedding. The result of this was that her unborn kid passed away. Bill (David Carradine), the former significant other of the bride and the father of the unborn child, was the one who led the ambush on the bride. As a result of her desire for retribution, the Bride embarks on a mission to eliminate Bill as well as every perilous Viper who desires her death. Exactly like Tarantino has said, it is his film. Prepare yourself for brutality.
Kill Bill Volume 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
The Accountant (2016)
I suppose that the pitch for The Accountant went something like this: Ben Affleck is a mathematical prodigy and a master in martial arts, and he works as an accountant for criminal groups. If it were up to me, Warner Bros., I would have given the movie the go-ahead as well. Affleck’s character, Christian Wolff, is a bright certified public accountant (thus the title “The Accountant”) who is on the autistic spectrum and works in a tiny office in a suburban area of Illinois. His true occupation is money laundering for criminal organizations, and the office is only a cover for him to do it. During the course of Wolff’s legal examination of a prosperous robotics business, he comes to the realization that more than sixty million dollars has been stolen.
During the time that Wolff is working to locate the thief, Ray King, a United States Treasury agent played by J.K. Simmons, who has been searching for “The Accountant” for a number of years, has a breakthrough in his investigation. Now that the FBI and a criminal organization are after him, Wolff is considered a wanted man. Now is the time for The Accountant to do what he does best, which is to solve various mathematical issues and eliminate anybody who stands in his way.

Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017)
Vince Vaughn is often seen by audiences either appearing at a wedding or playing the role as the life of the party. The game Brawl in Cell Block 99 is a dramatic departure from the previous approach. It seems like Bradley Thomas (Vaughn) is unable to get a break. In addition to this, his wife, Jennifer Carpenter, had an affair, which led to him losing his work as an auto mechanic. Bradley, who is determined to make a change in his life, decides to become a drug courier, which ultimately results in his having financial stability and a more fulfilling marriage. Bradley, on the other hand, is taken into custody by the authorities and consequently condemned to seven years in jail when a narcotics transaction goes awry.
Bradley’s wife, who is now pregnant, is taken captive by the gang that was meant to get the narcotics, and Bradley is then forced to assassinate a prisoner who is being held in the hazardous cell block 99. However, if Bradley does not comply, the gang will take Bradley’s unborn child. When you play Brawl in Cell Block 99, you will see Vaughn in a way that you have never seen him before. The threat that he poses to others has never been greater. Witnessing him perform heinous acts of violence will leave you in a state of disgust. Despite this, Vaughn delivers a performance that is both passionate and well-acted. For an actor who seldom displays his serious side, this is a wonderful opportunity to switch things up.
Brawl in Cell Block 99 is available to stream on Netflix.
